About the Item
Beautiful matched pair of Italian hand painted Chinoiserie Venetian commodes, one early 19th century the other late 19th century.
The hand painted decoration on both commodes dates to the late 19th century and done in the 18th century Chinoiserie manner.
Both have their original shaped grey marble tops with fine cast brass fittings. Both commodes have original hand printed paper lined drawers.
