About the Item
A smart and extremely well made pair of antique burr elm bedside chests. They were made in England, they date from around the 1950’s.
The quality is superb and they are a very useful size, offering plenty of storage space. They have bow shaped fronts and lovely brass handles, sitting on beautifully shaped bracket feet. The tops and drawer fronts are beautifully cross banded, the burr elm grain patterns and colour tones are gorgeous throughout.
We have had these re-polished, the condition is excellent for their age.
