About the Item
A pair of mid 20th century French Louis XV style Bombay commodes. Walnut and tulipwood construction with great marquetry inlaid foliate detail on the drawers and sides cast Bronze handles and mounts. Each commode has three dovetailed drawers and molded Rouge marble tops, shaped skirts and flared feet. Original finishes with minor repair, one old repair marble, lacks one drawer lock. Each is 34 wide x 16 1/2 deep x 35" high.
