About the Item
Pair of French commodes with conforming specimen marble tops and two drawers with large cartouche form bronze mounts with trailing leaves and vines and handles that are part of the vines. The front with intricate shell form escutcheon plates and each with a key. Additional bronze cartouche form mounts on the side panels, corners and feet. The commodes are decorated with floral marquetry on front and sides.
Dimensions: 43" W, 20 1/2" D and 33" H
Condition: Please see detail photos. There are white quartz inclusions in stone that are part of the natural stone, roughness along the marble edges, minor imperfections to marble. There are stable age cracks to both left and right side of cabinets, veneer losses with some up-lifting. Over-all fine presentation.
