About the Item
Pair of commodes in Gustavian style, painted in a light grey-white shade with a beautiful patina.
Beneath the top runs a carved dentil frieze. The body features three drawers with architecturally shaped panelled fronts and floral rosettes, flanked by slanted fluted side posts and crowned at the top with a carved rhombus motif.
The top drawer is designed to appear as two drawers, but is in fact a single drawer.
The commodes stand on elegant, tapered legs with fluted detailing.
