Pair of Incredible Venetian Glass Gilt Commodes or Dressers from Europe. After importing from Europe for over 34-years, you would think you've seen pretty much most designs, that is until now. We found this pair of very unusual Venetian clad chests in this very dark and rich red colour palette trimmed in gold. When you look carefully you can see the gold leaf design under the glass and look again and unfortunately there are numerous hairline cracks. The only thing that is a saving grace, is because the glass is so dark, the hairlines are difficult to see, but they are there in quantity. Still, this pair of matching Venetian Chests make such an unbelievable statement that they grab your eyes towards them like nothing we've ever had previously. If you're looking for a perfect pair, these are not for you, but if hairlines don't bother you, then they are truly something very special.
