About the Item
The Chest On Chest with classic elegant Georgian lines. The upper chest with a carved cornice with a dentil frieze. A burled band is over the two short over three long graduated drawers. The lower chest with three long graduated drawers. All drawers with carved moldings and fine brass pulls and keyholes. Raised on bracket feet. Lacking a key. Restoration recommended.

Condition: Please see detail photos. Various signs of age include a dull finish, stable age crack on the upper right side, trim loss, an old repair to the upper left corner of burled band, loss to left front corner of the dentil frieze, scrapes to the top of the lower cabinet frame and worn legs. While restoration is recommended, it is not strictly necessary as the function and presentation are quite authentic and fine.
