About the Item
This lovely little chest of drawers has a beautiful light honey color and an even grain pattern, which give it considerable presence in spite of its small size. A routed top edge gives a smooth step-down, made all the more interesting by the chamfered front corners. The drawer fronts are plain and graduated, the two center drawers being equal with a shallow top drawer and a deeper one at the bottom, all with delicate hand-cut dovetailed construction. The front corners of the case repeat the chamfer with some small appliques offering the only decoration on the piece. This is a great chest for a guest room or child’s bedroom, or for use anywhere attractive compact storage is required.
