About the Item
An applied bullnose molding creates a step-down edge to the top of this beautiful little chest of four hand-cut dovetailed drawers. The top front corners are chamfered, as are the front corners of the case. The drawers are graduated. The shallow top drawer has a serpentine front while the others are plain. The middle two are of equal depth and the bottom, as is usual, is deepest of all. Each drawer has a decorative brass escutcheon which contrasts nicely with the drawer fronts. The wood is beautifully blonde with some variegation, an even grain pattern, and only small knots.
