About the Item
Tall antique pine chests of drawers are very hard to find so we were very pleased when this one showed up. It couldn’t be more plain and functional with an almost Shaker-like simplicity in appearance. The case is all straight lines. The top has no crown and there are no moldings anywhere. Less than four feet tall, it houses six dovetailed drawers of equal depth, opening on pressed brass bail pulls with matching escutcheon plates. Great for a growing child’s bedroom or guest room, the office or the basement, this chest has a very small footprint and will be useful in any location where floor space is at a premium.
