About the Item
A bullnose ogee crown molding is applied to the top edge of this handsome chest, to form a very attractive step-down. Three deep hand-cut dovetailed drawers, with the top one slightly deeper and standing proud of the others, are flanked by a long pyramid and a two groove applied fluted molding, topped with a plain corbel. The case is trimmed at the bottom with a straight base molding which, with a shapely foot, forms a graceful bracket. The locks appear to be in working order but we regret we do not have keys.
