About the Item
This exceptional Queen Anne chest of drawers is a beautifully preserved example of early 18th-century English cabinetry.
Crafted from richly coloured oak with a deep, historical patina, the chest features a total of seven drawers. The upper section consists of three long drawers and two short drawers, while the distinctive, shaped stand below houses two additional small drawers. The piece is accented by original bat-wing brass handles and escutcheons throughout and raised elegantly on four turned bun feet.
