About the Item
This Storage Chest made of Brazilian Rosewood with a leather detail was produced by Celina Decorações in the 1960s. Inside, there is a lot of space to keep your belongings.
In this period, Brazilian furniture with modern design gained more space within the intimate areas of homes, especially bedrooms. The architecture and decoration magazines started to show more projects of these environments, and we also see more types of furniture aimed at these spaces. This piece appears in several interior projects and magazine articles.
The company Celina Decorações signed one of the most modern lines of Brazilian furniture in the 1960s. Based in Rio de Janeiro, the Celina Decorações factory imposed high-quality standards, maintaining handcrafted characteristics.
This piece is in very good vintage condition and presents its original manufactury stamp. The wood was restored in our Workshop by our skilled restorer.
