About the Item
These 2 Biedermeier cabinets were made in 19th century. They come from Germany. Made of solid coniferous wood and veneered with beautiful walnut veneer. Each chest features a drawer lockable with a key in the upper section and spacious lower storage compartment with a shelf. Each one is set on four slender legs that add extra lightness to the form, the cabinets display elegant proportions and a balanced, symmetrical form. They have undergone a careful renovation process in our workshop and are in excellent condition, both technically and visually. Surface finished with shellac polish, applied by hand with a pad to a high gloss finish with smoothed pores, which in addition to an excellent visual effect, protects and nourishes wood. The natural coloring has been preserved, revealing stunning grain of the walnut veneer. The construction is rigid and stabile. The cabinets are in beautiful condition, fully functional, ready for everyday use. A beautiful set to enrich any antiques collection and add a touch of elegance to any interior.
