About the Item
A fine example of a Seymour School Federal mahogany four drawer chest of drawers with turret reeded corners, conforming top, birdseye maple veneer drawer fronts with cross banded mahogany borders, period punched brasses, and a nicely shaped skirt, all supported by four turned round legs. Probably Boston origin, and dates to the early 19th century in very good condition, with refreshed finish, minimal restorations, imperfections, and light wear commensurate with age and use. Dimensions: 41.63 in H x 42.75 in W x 21.25 in D. Ref: 927
