Stunning toilette commode, structured like a writing commode, made in the famous era of Biedermeier, a late piece made around 1850, in Austria.
The structure of the chest of drawers consists of a beautifully designed base, two doors that free up storage space with a shelf. This is followed by a wide drawer in which there are different compartments in which you can store many different things, and a hinged mirror is also included.
This object has a rich selection of materials - the substructure is spruce, on the outside the ash veneer, special accents with root ash, bands in walnut, inside cherry wood and maple. The fittings are typical of the period made of cast bronze.
Measurements approx.: height 34,25 in - 87 cm, width 44,09 in - 112 cm, depth 20,87 in - 53 cm
This piece of furniture combines beauty and is practical, just as it corresponds to the spirit of the Biedermeier era and comes in perfectly restored condition.
