Elegant rosewood chest of drawers produced by Svend Langkilde for his successful 1953 company Langkilde Møbler. Its very high quality finish and refined details such as its beautiful veining, its interior drawers, its Chinese-inspired legs, its handles, give it great delicacy.
Langkilde's style is characterized by simple and elegant shapes, combined with an attention to detail and functionality.
The designer has won numerous awards and distinctions such as the gold medal at the Triennale di Milano in 1957. His creations have been exhibited in museums around the world, including the MoMA in New York.
