About the Item
Swedish pair of white 19th century painted chest of drawers circa 1880.
Good quality pair of Swedish painted commodes.
Top surface with hand painted faux marble effect, canted corners and moulded edging. Each chest is fitted with 3 drawers, top drawer decorated with a grooved latice effect and the further 2 drawers of equal proportions. Each fitted with later brass ornate handles and escutheons. Canted corners with applied moulding's to the top and a channelled detailing below. Standing on 4 tapered legs.
Later paint which has been partially scraped back, which now shows in it's current faded condition.
Expected minor surface marks and losses/fading to paint.
