About the Item

An oak chest of drawers from turn of the century France. Elaborate columns create a Neo Renaissance aesthetic, their intricate contours framing the right-angled paneling of the drawers. Gilded lock pieces and drawer handles in the shape of crests add a stately touch. The wood has been restored in our workshops to reveal the dusky russet tone of the oak, lending this distinguished vintage piece a natural finish.
