About the Item

A most elegant and high quality Tuscan 18th century Louis XV st. Rosewood, Bardiglio marble and Ormolu commode. This wonderful commode is raised by four Rosewood cabriole legs leading up to the arbalest shaped front and side aprons. Above are the two full width drawers decorated with Ormolu lion mask ring pulls and keyhole escutcheon, which are lined with a Fleur de Lys paper. Above is the original arbalest shaped Bardiglio marble top finished with a DuPont ogee edge.
