Vintage French Bombé style Commode that was repainted a long time ago with an incredible faux marble top. We have seen numerous faux painted marble tops in our 35-year history, but none compared to this artist's interpretation of how real marble is supposed to look and she executed it as well as you could possibly do. Nicely detailed painted interior in a traditional French color just adds a nice unexpected detail. Please note all the aged hairline cracks in the paint, although there are none on the top surface.
