About the Item
A very well made and superbly decorative custom Corner Hutch with many fine details. Large in size with an overall light presentation having softly finished stripped wood with fine Creme paint accents. With a dramatic top broken pediment, dominating the presentation is a large and beautifully formed Shell Crest with rosette accents and a central carved acanthus element. Other decorative details include fluted side columns, egg and dart trim and shaped interior shelves with curved plate rests. The bottom recess carved doors with simple brass pulls open to reveal six flat pull out drawers suitable for print storage. The sum of these many parts is a magnificent and, while understated, incredible piece with many design possibilities.

Condition: Please see detail photos. There are various acceptable signs of age including paint traces left intentionally during the original stripping process, some rough edges noticeably at the column tops, some scrapes and nicks to the shelves for use all mentioned for accuracy as the wear is very much in keeping with the understated style and the Cabinet retains an incredible presentation.
