About the Item
This elegant triangular corner cabinet was crafted in France circa 1950. Built of rich mahogany, the small buffet stands on bracket feet over a molded plinth base and features a single paneled door with refined details. The front is embellished with a gilt bronze laurel wreath medallion at the center and an ornate neoclassical mount with scrolling motifs across the frieze.
Both side panels are decorated with carved shell and fluted accents, adding depth and movement to the design. Inside, a central shelf offers functional storage, while the surface above is finished with a triangular top, ideal for displaying a lamp, sculpture, or decorative object.
The piece retains its original warm walnut-brown patina and polished finish, bringing an understated sophistication to any interior. In excellent condition commensurate with age and use. A perfect accent for a living room, study, or powder room. Key included.
