About the Item

This bow front pine corner cabinet includes a built in Swedish Mora clock, making it a special find. The original painted finish shows wear/age-relate distress, including the faux wood background and original painted embellishments. The panels with floral motif are newer painted, indicating they were re-painted at some point in its history, including the date of 1786 seen along the center top. This corner cupboard stands over 7.5' tall at the center and is built in two sections. Interior reveals upper and lower fixed shelves. Three keys are included. While all three locks currently function, if they become "fussy" buyer may choose to use keys simply as pulls only. Professionally restored, this pine corner cabinet is strong and stable. The old clock does not function but all accessible original parts will be included in shipping (many clients opt to install a battery function for ease of use). All scratches, cracks, dings, and age related separation are reflective of age and do not detract from the beauty nor function of this special mora clock corner cabinet. Paint missing along the face. Please refer to professional photos for clear understanding of color, condition, and details; photo lighting, individual monitor display and home lighting all impact how item is viewed.
