About the Item

A supreme quality early 18th century, small and rare, burr walnut corner cupboard in exceptional condition. This fine cupboard has a moulded cornice above two doors, each surrounded by wide cross-banding and herringbone banded arched panels of glorious burr walnut, centred by inlaid marquetry stars of ebony and sycamore. Depth from corner of room to front corner of cupboard 47.5cms. Depth from centre front of cupboard to back corner 38cms.
