About the Item
A French wooden credenza on paw feet from the early 19th century. This antique buffet from France has a rectangular-shaped top with slightly overhangs the case below, which house three dovetailed drawers adorn with brass rectangular-pull hardware, set over three recessed-panel doors. Each of the doors are flanked within column-style posts and front side posts. The skirting is clean and straight. The chest is presented upon paw-carved feet at front with straight block legs at rear. This fruitwood cabinet has been nicely refinished at one point. This beautiful early 19th century French console cabinet is just over 5 feet in length and would be an elegant, yet simple addition to any room in the house.
