About the Item

This stunning high quality sideboard credenza was designed by the Belgian designer Oswald Vermaercke and manufactured by his own company V-Form circa 1959. This long streamlined sideboard is made of beautifully grained teak. The rich, warm tones of the teak wood exude a natural beauty that only improves with time, making it a lifelong investment for those who appreciate enduring style. It offers plenty of storage space with two sliding tambour doors on each side and four center drawers with decoratively carved pulls. This beautiful clean design can be compared to the designs from the Danish designer Arne Vodder. Whether you’re a collector of mid-century treasures or someone with an eye for classic design, this stunning piece will be a focal point addition to any room, instantly elevating the overall aesthetic of your space. Vermaercke's company V-Form was not easily accessible to the international market and V-Form closed in 1978. For this reason Vermaercke's designs are rarely seen in the United States.
