About the Item

Equal parts beauty and functionality this exquisite credenza, attributed to Arne Vodder, is the epitome of 'functional art'. Constructed of a mix of solid and veneered Brazilian rosewood with exceptional variegated woodgrains unique to Brazilian rosewood this piece is absolutely mesmerizing in natural light. Though there are some signs of wear (see item condition section for details) this piece is overall in very good condition for it's age. All five drawer faces feature hand craved handles intricately inset into the solid rosewood and the door handles have been shaped into artful curves that are stunning from all angles. Complete with four adjustable shelves made from solid rosewood slabs this credenza has ample, clever storage. Ideal for home and office spaces this truly extraordinary credenza can blend seamlessly against a multitude of design backdrops from MCM to Modern to Contemporary. With very few of these credenzas available for sale worldwide and even fewer still available in North America this expertly designed and crafted sideboard wont last long. Refinished. Wear consistent with age and use. This extraordinary credenza has recently undergone a partial restoration. The wooden composition, in a mix of solid and veneered Brazilian rosewood, is in overall very good condition but it does show signs of wear including some bubbling in the venee.
