About the Item

Refined and unique sideboard in solid carved walnut, decorated with "Carthusian" inlays in walnut and other woods. The sideboard features a linear shape, characterized by a base and top enriched with moldings, while the underside features carved dentils typical of the period. The piece also features two drawers and two doors, designed for ergonomic and practical storage, which open using knobs and unique mermaid-shaped pulls in lost-wax bronze. The great delicacy of this sideboard lies in the inlays on the front, which create intricate geometric inlays of various types and plant-shaped panels, lending it great class. This is a piece of furniture of great taste and refinement, which has participated in art exhibitions and belonged to a Florentine nobleman, capable of giving a touch of elegance and antiquity to the furnishings of any room. Tuscan manufacture, from the Renaissance period, around the early 16th century. Measurements: H x W x D 115 x 126 x 48cm Reference bibliography: M.
