About the Item

Impressive solid walnut sideboard, Provençal manufacture, datable to the second half of the 18th century. Moved line of regional Louis XV taste, important proportions, and beautiful uniformity of patina. The front is organized into four panelled doors with shaped profiles and six drawers in the upper register, arranged three and three, with wrought iron ring handles. Wrought iron vents and locks, coeval craftsmanship. Richly shaped lower apron lightening the plant, framed sides. Large interior with solid wood shelves. The back highlights the ancient construction with original planks and period nailing. Conservation status:Very good, with well-preserved historical patina.
