Renaissance Style Credenza in Walnut, Italy c. 1700

About the Item
The cabinet featuring deep carved designs and accents, mounted with a later Verde Antico Marble top. Italian or Central European in origin, and partially dating from the beginning of the 18th Century.
The Cabinet front with three stop-fluted columns interspersing two hinged cabinet doors. Each with layers of moulded borders, and concealing an interior of shelf storage.
The doors featuring central rosette designs, and surmounted by two draped garlands of flowers and fruit, one depicted as partially sliced, and both protruding significantly from the frieze. The sides with similar fluted column designs, and repeated rosette carving.
All constructed in solid Walnut, with bun feet Verde Antico Marble top in conforming rectangular shape.
