About the Item
The Rey Collection's signature twisted rope detail and clean-lined simplicity combine in a fresh take on classic form. This piece features solid oak, six drawers with dovetail joinery and soft-close glides, as well as a center cabinet with an adjustable shelf. Offering substantial storage, it is well-suited as a dresser, sideboard, or credenza.

August Abode is a moving portrait of California life, an invitation to reconnect with the allure of nature to enhance our everyday lives. Founded in Los Angeles in 2019 by designer Stefani Stein, August Abode is an artisan-made home collection capturing the West Coast spirit of endless summer. We make relaxed and refined statement essentials inspired by the beauty of living in the Golden State.
Through observation and abstraction of nature, we design furniture and wallcoverings in which form, function, and fine craftsmanship have the ability to positively impact our everyday lives through our homes.
We are committed to making responsibly, not overproducing. Our view is to make future heirlooms. Discouraged by the impact of Los Angeles landfills being the largest in the county, we aim to reduce our participation in the epidemic of thoughtless production. Our made-to-order pieces encourage a steady flow of business to LA’s rich artisan trade community, while keeping our production process local and environmentally ethical. We are investing in the next generation of skilled makers, to encourage a sustainable and vertical model that reduces wasteful production.
