About the Item

Early modernist bent plywood cabinet by Thaden-Jordan. Birch laminate construction was characteristic of the wartime design, as a response to scarcity of materials. This cabinet holds a center drawer for flatware and two cabinet doors with adjustable shelves inside. Good vintage condition with original finish. Made in Virginia circa 1940s.
