About the Item

A monumental Italian enfilade credenza, sourced in Parma and dating to the 1980s. Over seven feet wide, the piece is constructed of wood and finished in a high-gloss black lacquer that reflects light across its sharply linear form. The four paneled doors are faced in sepia-hued birdseye maple, their softly undulating profiles and swirling grain adding a sense of movement. A sculptural demi-lune shelf floats above the surface, echoing the curvature of the doors below. The two center doors open with elongated black lacquered pulls; interior shelving spans the full width. A recessed plinth base lends visual lift to the monolithic frame. Postmodern in spirit—style as a dining room anchor, gallery-like media console, or statement storage in a loft interior. Condition: Great vintage condition with light, age-appropriate wear. The high-gloss lacquer shows minor surface scuffs, scratches, and faint marks, primarily to the top. All doors open and close smoothly.
