About the Item

This early cabinet is by A. B. Nordiska Kompaniet attributed to Carl Bergsten, 1918. Figural birch with inlay. The door opening is 12.5" wide and 21.2" high. Swedish Grace: elegant and refined, yet delightfully simple. One of the briefest, yet among the most remarkable eras of 20th-century design would have to be Sweden’s romantic national style known as Swedish Grace, a culmination of neoclassical architecture and design.
