About the Item
Twentieth century Italian sideboard in alder wood, external color patinated white. It is called ''Madia'' in Italian and is typical of the Italian region Tuscany. In ancient times it was a piece of furniture used to contain flour and the dough for bread and pizza was kneaded in the upper part. It is a very useful piece of furniture in the kitchen, it also has three drawers and two doors at the bottom. The wood is not poplar but rather alder, but the site does not include it among the default woods.
Comes from an old country house in the Florence area of Tuscany.
