- Condition:Refinished. Additions or alterations made to the original: This pine cupboard or dresser is a marriage of two pieces from roughly the same period. While they fit very well together, they did not originally go together. Wear consistent with age and use. "Scrubbed European pine" refers to the refinishing of antique pine furniture where the original painted and/or tooled finish and the subsequent layers of paint have been scrubbed away leaving the original pine wood that subsequently has been waxed.
