About the Item
A beautiful antique French solid door storage cupboard has three shelves and a working key! The door is constructed of old cherry and the case complements the door, made of rich golden pine. This tall, narrow cabinet offers a lot of closed storage without taking a up large footprint in your space. The door closes and locks with an original key that has a large dark green tassel attached. The wood overall is rustic and distressed from over a century of use. Because of the mixed woods, it is likely that the cherry door was repurposed at some point in time and a woodworker made the reclaimed pine casework to attach the door.
Condition commensurate with age and use. In as found condition. Please note the rustic imperfections in the wood, random scratches and old, inactive wormhole damage. None of these imperfections affect the beauty or function of this piece.
