About the Item
A fabulous early 19th Century narrow cupboard, with a single arched plank door above four deep drawers, decorative pelmet and flat fronted plinth.
The cabinet has its original painted surface inside and out, with three shelves and backing boards.
Age related wear and abrasions, the base has had some added structural support not visible. Signs of elderly woodworm to the original backing boards with some minor losses to the bottom third and also a patch repair to the bottom left hand side.
It would appear the cabinet was possibly part of a much larger built in unit, likely for a kitchen.
