About the Item

Early 19th century rustic painted Scandinavian cupboard circa 1830. We are pleased to offer this rural piece of Swedish furniture in near original condition. Traditional Swedish blue paint scheme which has worn. Weathered and crackled to it's appearance today. Rectangular top with moulded edge, below which the double door cupboard opens to reveal a partially fitted interior of 2 pine drawers below the top surface and 2 fixed shelves.  All raised on block feet. Obvious losses and fading to paintwork and surface marks in line with age and use.  Structurally strong and ready for everyday use.
