Georgian Pine Housekeepers Cupboard in Original Paint. Rare survivor in totally untouched original condition. Westcountry. Circa. 1800
The cupboard is in totally unrestored original condition. The original paint simulates Walnut and this technique was widely used in Devon in the 1700s and early 1800s. Devon is in the extreme West of England.
The cupboard is in structurally solid condition throughout, but with some small areas of missing moulding.
