Description:
Exceptional painted Tyrolean wardrobe with two doors, in petrol green and entirely made of fir wood.
On the doors, four ivory-colored panels, with red frames, contain floral decorations. The same are repeated on the notches, inserted in geometric decorations typical of the Maria Theresa of Austria period, and under the upper cornice, in a flowery band that envelops the entire piece of furniture. In the lower part of the piece of furniture, the same band contains woodland decorations, partially deteriorated.
The central part is the most interesting and unusual: on the left door a hunter embraces a rifle, while on the right door a male deer is portrayed. On the notches, two garlands enclose young roosters, a symbol of courage, ardour and victory.
Inside, the original division of the spaces is still present, and the date of construction is shown on the right door.
Of particular value are the lock and all the hardware, original and functioning.

Each piece of furniture is treated to ensure solidity and hygiene.
In particular, the following are carried out:
- structural restoration
- careful anti-woodworm treatment
- cleaning and sanitization of the interior
- external finish with natural beeswax
- internal finish with shellac (natural alcohol-based varnish)
Upon request, we can agree on the desired level of restoration and the customization of the internal layout (clothes hanger poles, shelves, etc.).
