A rare early 19th Century two door Italian cupboard from a convent near Lucca. Retaining much of its original paint, the cupboard has an unusual configuration of only two doors across its near two-and-a-half metre width! The doors conceal an array of shelving and two wide drawers. An imposing piece that manages to exude a calm and peaceful beauty. Circa 1830.
