About the Item

This early cabinet was in many households used to store dishes and linens. It's from the 18th century originally from Sweden. Notice the beautiful original colors that newer paint had been scraped away to reveal the original. You can see all the details of how the early hardware id there and the pegging it really lovely in every way.

    Refinished. Repaired: On the top inside door there is some plaster to strengthen what has been a repair. Wear consistent with age and use. Minor losses. Minor fading. the paint has been scraped back to show original colors. Structurally it is sound. Bottom door doesn t stay closed all the way so might need a slight adjustment.
