About the Item

18th century fruitwood desk from France with a gorgeously banded top over simple and scalloped sides and two drawers in the front flanking a knee hole, which measures 26 inches in height to the apron of the desk. The back of the desk is hand paneled as well for easy placement in any room setting. The desk is supported on cabriole legs. This is a wonderfully elegant form and would be lovely in any setting.
