About the Item
19th Century English birds-eye maple desk, circa 1835.
This pedestal desk retains its original Moroccan leather top, with fitted internal mahogany drawers across the top and two cupboard doors to each pedestal.
Beautiful 'bird's-eye' figuring throughout the maple makes this desk very attractive indeed, and it rests on a sturdy plinth base.
A wonderful piece for the home office or library.
