About the Item

19th century English knee hole desk made from oak with a beveled edge around the top following down to a single drawer over two banks of three drawers each flanking a central door which opens to reveal storage. All of the drawer fronts and door are spectacularly hand carved decorated and have hand cast brass pulls. The piece is raised on bracket feet.
