About the Item
A very good quality late 19th Century French Bon hour du jour. The pair of doors above having wonderful parquetry inlaid diamond shaped inlay, a sliding tablet opening to write upon. The single frieze drawer having a central classical gilded ormolu plaque depicting a mother and child, scrolling ormolu mounts to either side. Raised on turned tapering inlaid legs united by an H stretcher.
