American cherry wood slant top desk, early 19th century. With a rectangular dove tailed top, a single board slant top, the interior with a central drawer flanked by two drawers on either side, below are 4 graduated drawers, single board sides, a double serpentine shaped apron, resting on splayed front and rear legs. Nice color and finish. Hand dove tailed case and drawer construction.
