A truly fine example, you don't see many Lion's Hairy Paw pieces out there and none restored to this standard, it has the period leather top which has been hand dyed this chestnut brown colour, the frame has all been washed back and french polished from the ground up
The desk has the period Braham locks which as you know were used by Gillow's of Lancaster and London, Gillow's didn't sign all their pieces and this is certainly of that quality
The desk splits into three easy to transport pieces, it is a large size that can accommodate two people, one at the front and one at the back
Condition wise, as mentioned the desk has been fully restored, the leather top is original and has loads of patina and ware, this is very desirable, the main body of the desk is in super fine order
